It is proposed that CRA will not longer issue cheques after April 2016. While there is a bit of &#8220;wiggle&#8221; room, we recommend that you get signed up in order to avoid delays in receiving funds from CRA.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a business and receive at least one of the following payments from the Canada Revenue Agency, you can sign up for direct deposit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>corporation income tax refund<\/li>\n<li>goods and services tax\/harmonized sales tax credit<\/li>\n<li>refund of excise tax or other levies<\/li>\n<li>refund of payroll deductions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to sign up<\/h3>\n<h4>Online<\/h4>\n<p>As a business owner or representative with Level 3 (delegated authority) authorization, you can start or update a\u00a0direct deposit online. To manage your business tax affairs online, log in or register for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cra-arc.gc.ca\/esrvc-srvce\/tx\/bsnss\/myccnt\/menu-eng.html\">My Business Account<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cra-arc.gc.ca\/esrvc-srvce\/tx\/rprsnttvs\/menu-eng.html\">Represent a Client<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>By mail<\/h4>\n<p>To sign up for direct deposit, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cra-arc.gc.ca\/E\/pbg\/tf\/rc366\/README.html\">Form RC366, Direct Deposit Request for Businesses<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Mail the completed form to one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cra-arc.gc.ca\/cntct\/prv\/txcntr-eng.html\">tax centres<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For more information about direct deposit for businesses, call <strong><span class=\"nowrap\">1-800-959-5525<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Canada is switching to direct deposit for all payments that it issues.
